• Irish or Scottish Tunes (any or all of the above).   Depending on the level, we'll tea basic ornamentation.

• Tunes in the Key of (a particular key signature)
• Great Celtic Penny Whistle Tunes (can be narrowed).  Depending on the level, we'll teach some basic ornamentation.
• Great Celtic Fiddle Tunes (can be narrowed as well). Depending on the level, we'll teach basic ornamentation.

For all backing instruments, especially guitar and dulcimer. We'll teach basic rhythms and strum patterns.

Bring your instrument and tipper, or use one of our pizza box bodhráns.

Scotland's poet, Robert Burns (1759-1796), is celebrated worldwide, his works lifted up by people as diverse as Kofi Anna and Bob Dylan! We'll sample his songs, singing some that are lesser known and some great favorites.

Many wonderful American songs started  their lives in Ireland and the British Isles. We'll focus on learning several of these American versions.

Not only can Cormorant's Fancy play and sing gorgeous Celtic music for your ceremony, but we can also perform a wide variety of classic wedding pieces. Our keyboardist plays piano and organ, and our singers and other instrumentalists are adept a variety of styles. We have a great deal of experience planning and officiating too.
